As part of new U.S. government regulations, important changes are coming that will affect imports valued under $800 USD. Here's what you need to know and how we're supporting you through this transition.
This Article was originally written on April 15th, but was updated on 14th May to reflect new changes,
What's Changing
Starting May 2, 2025, the U.S. will remove the "de minimis" exemption. This exemption previously allowed goods valued under $800 USD to enter the country duty-free.
Moving forward:
Products made in China and shipped to a U.S. address will be subject to import duties, no matter their value or purchase date.
Effigised products (such as trading coins, standard coins, and foils) made in China will now incur a 27.5% tariff under the bullion exemption.
Effigised products made outside China will remain tariff-free.
Non-effigised products (like medallions and miniatures) made in China may face tariffs of up to 173% (Update: This has been reduced to 58% as of May 14th 2025), depending on classification.
Non-effigised products made in Singapore, the EU, and New Zealand will incur a 10% baseline tariff.
How We're Supporting You
We know these changes can feel overwhelming. Here’s how we’re making it easier for you:
1. Temporary Price Reductions
Starting from 05/02/2025, we’re reducing prices by 10% for U.S. customers purchasing products made in China.
This means:
For effigised products, the effective tariff impact drops to approximately 14.75% (down from 27.5%).
For non-effigised products, the effective impact drops to approximately 145.7% (down from 173% (Update: This has been reduced to 58% as of May 14th 2025)).
Please Note: Miniatures and Medallions rate from China been reduced to 58% as of May 14th 2025.
2. Streamlined Checkout Experience
From 05/02/2025, we will collect duties at checkout for affected items. This change ensures a faster and smoother delivery experience through U.S. customs, with no surprise fees on arrival.
3. Improved Product Information
We’re adding extra clarity to help you shop with confidence:
Impacted product pages will include a clear notice.
Products made in China will have SKUs ending with "CN."
4. One-Time Customs Form
If you're new to paying import duties, you’ll need to complete a 5106 Customs Form. It’s a quick, one-time process that helps U.S. Customs recognize you as an importer. We’ll provide guidance if you need support.
5. A Dedicated Support Team
As always, our team is ready to assist with any questions or concerns you have. We're here to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.
Thank you for being part of our community.
We’re committed to keeping you informed — and ensuring you continue to receive the collectibles you love with as little disruption as possible.

The Ultimate Chase Is Here:Star Wars™ Trading Coins Introduce the Golden Agoro
Our Trading Coins line is evolving, and in our most ambitious release to date, we’re introducing a new chase mechanic that takes collecting to the next level. One box. One card. One ultimate collectible.
Hidden inside one of the upcoming Star Wars™: The Original Trilogy Trading Coins boxes is something truly extraordinary: a Golden Agoro card. The lucky collector who finds it will unlock the rarest Star Wars trading coin ever minted – a one-of-one, 1oz pure gold Death Star II.
Just one.
How It Works:
Each Star Wars Trading Coins box includes two trading coins, and hidden beneath the coin on the right is a small envelope. Inside, you’ll find a card. Most will contain a message confirming you didn’t find the Golden Agoro this time – and that’s okay!
But one card will look different. You’ll know it the moment you see it.
Stamped with “Congratulations! You’ve just pulled a Golden Agoro”, this card is your ticket to something truly special. It confirms you’ve found the one-of-one chase.
To claim your prize:
Scratch the panel on the card to reveal your unique code.
Email the code to the address provided.
We’ll take care of the rest.
Your reward? The Ultimate Chase. The 1oz Pure Gold Death Star II.
Minted from 1oz of solid gold, this is the only one that exists. The collector who pulls the Golden Agoro will own a piece of Star Wars history that no one else ever can.
The Biggest Chase Yet
Our Trading Coins have always been about bringing a premium, precious collectible experience to fans. This new mechanic is our biggest step yet – combining the thrill of the chase with the ultimate one-of-one.
Collectors love the mystery, the reveal, and the possibility of holding something truly rare in their hands. And now, that thrill has been set to lightspeed.
Good luck – and May the 4th be with you.
Whether you own an ultra-rare Disney Trading Coin, a premium MLB piece, or a collection of Star Wars Movie Poster pieces, proper care will ensure your Agoros remain pristine for years to come.
Here’s everything you need to know about preserving your precious metal pieces at their best.
1. Keep It in the Capsule
Agoro coins and collectibles come encased in high-quality capsules—not just for presentation, but for protection. These capsules shield against dust, moisture, and accidental handling that can mark the metal’s surface.
Can you take your coin out? Absolutely. But be warned: mirror finishes, especially on proof coins, are highly susceptible to fingerprints and micro-abrasions. The oils on your skin can leave marks that are difficult to remove, so if you do handle them, do so with cotton gloves and on a soft, clean surface.
2. Store in a Stable Environment
Precious metals may be resistant to tarnish and corrosion, but improper storage can still impact their condition. Here’s what to avoid:
Humidity & Moisture – Silver can develop tarnish over time if exposed to excess humidity. Store your collectibles in a dry, climate-controlled space.
Direct Sunlight – Prolonged exposure to UV light can cause discoloration to packaging.
Extreme Temperatures – Fluctuating temperatures can cause condensation inside the capsule, potentially damaging the coin. Keep your collection in a consistent environment.
3. Avoid Excessive Handling
Unlike standard bullion, Agoro collectibles are crafted with high-quality finishes designed to elevate their detail and aesthetic. The more you handle them, the greater the risk of wear, scratches, or accidental drops. If you must take a piece out of its capsule:
Use cotton gloves to prevent fingerprints.
Hold it by the edges only—never touch the face of the coin.
Place it on a soft, lint-free surface to avoid scratches.
If a fingerprint does appear, it’s best to leave it alone rather than risk damage by trying to remove it.
4. Keep Packaging & Certificates Safe
Your Agoro collectible isn’t just about the metal—it’s a complete experience. Limited-edition pieces come with custom packaging, display boxes, and certificates of authenticity, all of which add to their long-term value.
Store packaging in a dry, dust-free place.
Keep COAs flat and away from sunlight to prevent fading.
Avoid excessive handling of paper materials to prevent creasing or wear.
5. Be Mindful of Cleaning (Or Don’t Clean at All)
A well-preserved collectible shouldn’t need cleaning. But if you do notice tarnish on a silver piece (which can happen naturally over time), avoid commercial cleaners or abrasive materials. Instead:
Use a soft, lint-free cloth (like a microfiber cloth) to gently remove dust.
If absolutely necessary, consult a professional before attempting any deep cleaning, especially with proof finishes.
6. Display with Care
Want to show off your Agoro collection? Go for it—just be smart about how.
Keep your pieces in their original capsules to maintain their condition.
If using a display case, ensure it's in a controlled environment away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Avoid touching or repositioning pieces frequently to minimize handling wear.
