
Your mission is to help craft the future of collecting at Agoro, a brand of New Zealand Mint. To do this, you will be developing standout products that thrill collectors and drive commercial impact via world-class IP such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter and DC.
As Product Manager, you will guide products from insight to launch, collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams, and champion a product development process that is thoughtful, fast, and always collector-first. This role is for a collectibles fanatic with a strong creative instinct and a drive to deliver world-class products.
This role is full time, and based out of Auckland, New Zealand.
Bring Our Product Strategy to Life

Take full ownership of products from concept through to market success - shaping concepts, guiding execution, and ensuring commercial impact.

Support the Head of Product in the continuous development of product strategy and roadmap planning, grounded in product and market insight.

Collaborate with designers and marketers to develop new product concepts - from early visual direction to final presentation. Ensure every product reinforces one or more of Agoro’s product pillars and delivers Agoro's strategy.

Continuously refine our understanding of target segments and evolve the personas that inform product and design decisions - this may include conducting interviews, testing concepts, or facilitating collector beta programs.
Shape Winning Products

Infuse Agoro’s products with your deep knowledge, insight and passion for collectibles.

Ensure product specifications (format, mintage, size, weight) balance creative ambition, commercial requirements, and production feasibility.

Identify opportunities to standardise successful product 'recipes' for consistency and efficiency.

Validate plans with Sales, Operations, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure all inputs are considered early, products are balanced, and risks are minimised.

Produce briefs that translate product strategy, performance data, and customer insights into clear, actionable direction for world-class design.

Own performance metrics for your products and drive continuous improvement through data-driven iteration.
Own the Product

Manage and champion products through every stage of the development process, providing clear direction to Operations, Design, and Marketing.

Craft compelling narratives around each product to elevate presentations to internal teams and external partners.

Present product concepts for governance sign-off. Optimise product release timing to align with market dynamics and opportunities.
Enable Our Channels

Tailor product assets and artefacts for the right format, audience, and sales channel - whether B2B2C resellers, online collectors, or retail showcase partners.

Work closely with Sales and Marketing to understand timing, store coverage, and in-market creative opportunities.
Turn Insight into Impact

Monitor product performance data, collector feedback, and creative effectiveness across channels, in collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Marketing.

Leverage insights to refine future product design, concept development, and creative positioning.

Continuously improve processes to reduce cycle time, deliver products in a timely fashion, and remain responsive to market opportunities.

5+ years in product management
