When Star Wars™ (スター・ウォーズ) took on a new identity in the East. 

 

Released in Japan in 1978, Star Wars: A New Hope™ was reimagined through a bold, market-exclusive poster. Blending Japanese design sensibilities with sweeping space opera imagery. The result is a design that stands apart as one of the most unique and sought-after interpretations in Star Wars history. 

 

Only 1,000 have been struck on a 20 g 999 pure silver foil, framed by a gleaming mirror-finish edge. Turn it over to reveal the inscription ‘フォースと共にあれ’ (Fōsu to tomo ni are), ‘May the Force be with you’. 

• Limited to just 1,000 worldwide, each foil is individually numbered on the back.
• Features Japanese 1978 Star Wars: A New Hope™ movie poster artwork in full color
• The back is finished in heavy frost, with the Star Wars™ logo, and the phrase “May the Force be with you,” in Japanese text.
• The Public Seal of Niue confirms the foil as legal tender. Find the seal on the back.
